Working Example 2 — Betting on favourite Team B to win: Decimal 1.80 = Fractional 4/5 = American -125. A negative American odds figure means how much you need to stake to win ৳100 — here ৳125. On a ৳1,000 bet, total return is ৳1,800 (৳800 profit).
Odds change constantly. Odds before the match starts and during live betting may differ. Team A / Team B are examples only, not actual matches or live odds.
Live Betting — Wickets and Overs Change Everything
Live in-play betting means placing bets while the match is in progress. In cricket this is particularly engaging because the situation can shift every over — even every ball.
For example — say Team A is batting and at 15 overs has scored 120 runs for 2 wickets. If two wickets then fall in quick succession, Team A's chances of winning drop, so their odds lengthen.
